Version 7.4 of all GraphiCode products released

GraphiCode, a global provider of cost-effective, superior software innovations for electronics manufacturing, today announces the release of version 7.4 of its full product suite - GC-PowerPlatform. The 7.4 release adds exciting new functionality that will help increase productivity and ease of use. New features in this release include:

* GC-PrevuePlus Assembly Programming option (cost option)
* Save and recall zoom locations
* Set default layer colors
* Autofix select DFM violations

The addition of the Assembly Programming feature in GC-PrevuePlus allows users to import Gerber or DXF and export a comma delimited xy file for use in programming SMT, PTH and AOI equipment. The functionality is similar to GC-PowerPlace which has been sold for over a decade. “The new Assembly Programming feature in GC-PrevuePlus is an exciting feature that provides exceptional value to our customers” said Sales and Marketing Manager Adam Brockman. “While GC-PowerPlace has offered this functionality for over 10 years, it wasn’t necessarily a solution for the customer who only occasionally needs this functionality. GC-PrevuePlus provides an answer at a very reasonable price.”

Customers can visit www.graphicode.com to read the full release notes and download the latest version. GC-PowerPlatform encompasses all of GraphiCode’s well-known products. GC-Prevue, GC-PrevuePlus, GC-CAM Edit, GC-PowerStation and GC-PowerPlace all benefit from the numerous enhancements and bug fixes.

The GC-PowerPlatform suite of products runs on the industry standard Windows platform, essentially eliminating the need to run expensive workstations. Flexible input and powerful outputs combined with enhanced CAM functionality result in higher throughput and lower costs. The Annual Support Plan (not necessary for GC-Prevue) continues to provide exceptional value for money with support provided on an as needed basis and four scheduled updates per year.
